He was a retired founder of the TG & C Coal Company and a member of the Midlothian Assembly of God Church.
He was survived by his wife, Gladys M. (Penrod) Williams; four sons, Jeff H. Williams, Midlothian; Allen E. Williams, Clarysville, and Thomas C. Williams and G. David Williams, both of Frostburg; three daughters, Doris K. Farabaugh, Fort Myers, FL; Doris Knieriem, Midlothian, and Gladys M. Bowman, Frostburg; three sisters, Grace Knisley, Midlothian; Bertha Barnett, Cumberland, and Hannah Hager, Shaft, and 18 grandchildren.
Services were conducted at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, MD, with the Rev. Robert W. Collett officiating. Interment was in the Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers, all nephews, were Lee Barnett, Paul Barnett, Thomas Reed, Rev. William Reed, Roy Williams and Kenneth Williams.
