OBITUARY :
MRS. ANNIE (BACHTELL) KECKLER, aged 71 years, wife of James A. Keckler, died Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at her home near, Zullinger following a stroke. She had been sick for the last four weeks and confined to her bed the last two weeks. During the last week her health failed rapidly.

She was born at Beaver Creek, Md., the daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Snyder) Bachtell, and for the last 45 years had made her home in Washington township. Mr. and Mrs. Keckler had been married
forty-four years.

Mrs. Keckler was a member of Salem Reformed church.

Surviving are her husband and these children, Mrs. Herbert Johnson, Chicago, Ill.; Elmer, Wilkes Barre; Earl and Ruth, at home, one grandchild, Shirley, Waynesboro, and three brothers, Edward, Bachtell, Cavetown; Ira Bachtell, Hagerstown, and John Bachtell, Mountain Home, Idaho, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hafer, Greencastle, and Mrs. Harry Besecker, Waynesboro route 2, alto survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home in charge of Rev. S. E. Lobach. Interment will be made in the Smithsburg cemetery.

The body may be viewed Saturday evening between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock at the home.
