Alvin Leosh, 86, of Clare, passed away April 4th at the Clare Nursing Home.
He was born August 28th, 1887 in Wise Township in Isabella County to William and Celestia (Snear) Leosh and married Charlotte Brown on November 24th, 1935 in Isabella County.
She preceded him in death in 1960.
A life-long resident of the area, he was a farmer by occupation, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the R.L.D.S. of Coleman.
Surviving are seven step-children: Mrs. Beatrice Baer of Lansing, Mrs. Ross Thomson of Clare, Ralph Brown of Florida, Ray Brown of Onaway, L.B. Brown of Harrison, Howard Brown of St. Johns, and Carl Brown of Gladwin; 34 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
Funeral services were provided by the Stephenson-Doherty Funeral Home on April 6th Elder Paul Gross officiated burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
