Mrs. Elmer Burgess
Mrs. Elmer E. Burgess, 77, of 331 School St., Bennington, Vt., died yesterday at her home. The former Eva Honn, she was employed in several former mills in Bennington. She was a native of Hoosick Falls.
Survivors include her husband, four sons, Bernard Burgess of San Mateo, Cal.; Elmer J. and Alfred Burgess of Bennington and Ralph Burgess of Shaftsbury, Vt.; four daughters, Mrs. Chester Walker of Willsboro, Mrs. Vernon Bolton of Bennington Mrs. Philip Decot of LaValle, Wis., and Mrs. Walter Markowitz of Latham; a sister, Mrs. Rena Niles of Pittsfield, Mass.; 23 grandchldren and 30 great grandchldren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 am Monday from Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, Bennington, with Rev. Melvin R. McGaughey, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Bennington, officiating.
