Mrs. Catherine Albaugh of Loudon Township has made application, through her attorney James Holder, for a pension. Her husband, Solomon Albaugh, settled in this part of the country in 1811 enlisted and served in the war of 1812. Mrs. Albaugh, who is almost seventy years old, has lived in the same house ever since she was born.

Deceased was a member of the Ev. Lutheran Church and was buried according to its rites at Kilgore on Sunday -- Rev. Schmuckers officiating.

Her death record is record in Carroll County, Ohio, in Vol.1, page 106. She was listed as a widow age 71, and cause of death was Lung trouble.
