Virginia Ann Prince, 83, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Shelbyville, KY. She was a native of Mansfield, LA, and a former resident of Wilburton, OK. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wilburton, OK. While in Wilburton, she loved to visit the Senior Citizen's Center. Mrs. Prince was a business school graduate in Eldorado, AK, who loved to read, camp, and spend time outdoors. She was also a huge fan of the Mark Harmon and the TV show, NCIS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hal Norwood Perkins and Anna Veronica Rinke Perkins. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Mullins (Rick) of Shelbyville; her son, Mike High (Donna) of Texarkana, TX; and her grandchildren, Nina Johnson (Derik) and Kara High, both of Texarkana, TX and Krystle Mullins and Derrick Mullins, both of Shelbyville. A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11th, at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Grant O'Dell officiating. Mrs. Prince's body has been accepted into the University of Louisville Department of Anatomical Science and Neurobiology for scientific research.
