Lawrence P. Hickey, 83, of 1735 Wheeler St who retired 1967 from the Northern Indiana Public Service Co., died at 9:15 am Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was a patient one month. He was a native of Versailles, Ohio, and lived here most of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Esther; four daughters, Rosemary Felger and bernardine Sproat, both of Fort Wayne, Jane Kintz of South Bend, and Patricia Buckley of Washington, DC; two sons, Joseph and Lawrence Jr., both of Fort Wayne; three stepdaughters, Betty Paulus of Corunna, ary Mundt of Fort Wayne, Jeanette Redman of Ironton, Mich.; a stepson, Joseph of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Charles of Tucson, Ariz., Leo of Indianapolis, and Edward of Muncie; and sister, Ethel Glass of Muncie.
Services will be at 9:40 am Saturday in C M Sloan & Sons Funeral Home and 10 am in Precious Blood Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 today at the funeral home, where the rosary will be said at 7 pm.
Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
