Mrs. Josephine Kasuba Woroscylo, 72, of 705 Wayne Ave., Ellwood City, died unexpectedly at her residence at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 10, 1989. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., April 8, 1917. In her youth, she moved to Poland with her family and returned to the United States in 1951. Her husband, Stanley Walter Woroscylo whom she married June 4, 1946, in Berlin, died April 21, 1975. Mrs. Woroscylo was a member of St. Agatha Church B.V.M. Golden Agers Group and P.N. A. 1212. Survivors include three sons, Stanley W. and Paul W., both of Ellwood City, and Joseph G. of New Brighton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Koch of Beaver Falls and Mrs. Christine Bentley of Dorset, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Helena Bonka, in Poland; a brother, Walter Kaszuba of Burbank, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas in January of 1957; and a sister. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Turner Funeral Home, 500 Sixth St., Ellwood City. A Christian wake service will be observed at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at noon tomorrow at St. Agatha Church by the Rev. Thomas M. Kirby, pastor. Interment will be in St. Agatha Cemetery.
