Barbara Jean COLLINS, 62, Rt. 1, Macy (Nyona Lake), died at 1:05 a.m. today at Woodlawn Hospital. She was born May 4, 1925 in Logansport to Everett O. "Davy" and Lillian HOWELL CROCKETT. She was married April 14, 1946 to Walter N. "Sparky" COLLINS, who survives. She was employed as the vital statistics clerk at the Cass County Health Department. She was a member of the Macy United Methodist Church, the Business and Professional Women's Club, the Miami County Home Extension Club, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Macy Eastern Star. Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Dr. Lucinda K. WRIGHT, Davenport, Iowa; Sharon L. CROUSSORE, Logansport, and Catherine L. COLLINS, Logansport, and five grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, with the Rev. Katharine LEHMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Eastern Star services will be Wednesday evening. Memorials may be made to the Macy United Methodist Church.
