WALLACE --- On Monday, October 11, 1965, at 10:15 o'clock p.m., Carrie (Palis) Shoemaker, beloved wife of the late Joel W. Wallace, mother of Virgil D. Wallace, Mrs. Mary Rexford, Mrs. Eva McNeese, Mrs. Ludia DosRamos, Mrs. Jessie Wilks, Mrs. Billie Dufour, Mrs. Lois Clingan, Mrs. Mazine Bethel and the late J.C. Wallace, Verda Mae Clingan, and Oma Wallace; age 77 years; a native of Meadville, Mississippi, and a resident of this city for 23 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.

Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Magazine Street corner Phillip (Parking area 2215 Magazine St.), on Wednesday, October 13, 1965, at 1:30 o'clock p.m., followed by religious services at Baptist Mission Church, Second St. between Chippewa abd Annunciation. Internment in Garden of Memories.
