WILLIE MERLE CHERRY, 89, of Houston Texas Passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was born on May 16, 1922 in New Baden, Texas to Pleasant Thomas Barnett and Viola Virginia Bell Barnett. She was a homemaker and a life long resident of Houston and also a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Lewis Cherry, Children; Sandra Bray, Carolyn Bray Kelley and Randy Cherry, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by:
Daughter - Pamela K. Cherry of Houston
2 Grandchildren - Donna Marie Sample and Ronald Lewis Kelley
and Host of Nieces and Nephews
SERVICES will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. At the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas with Rev. C.E. Barnett Officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
