Elizabeth "Betty" Arehart, 89, of Mogadore, went home to be with her Lord on March 2, 2004, surrounded by family.
Betty loved gardening and enjoyed creating floral arrangements. Passers-by were often compelled to stop and admire her flowers. She also loved feeding and watching birds, especially hummingbirds.
Betty was a member of Mogadore Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67½ years, Chester Arehart, and sisters, Mabel Saffel and Vera Brooker.
Betty will be deeply missed by her daughters, Barbara Wilkinson of Mogadore and Carol Nemet of Cuyahoga Falls; six grandchildren; friend and longtime caregiver, Candy Shreve; and other loved ones.
