They had 2 children: Louie Starr Benge b. Mar 16, 1914; and Oleta Elizabeth Benge b. July 18, 1920, who married J. W. Kite, Jr. born in AL.

He worked for the OK State Highway Depart. and then for the VA at the VA Hospital in Muskogee, OK, transferring to the New VA Hospital in Fayetteville, AR, in 1934. He died from pneumonia.
