Leslie Nelson Reynolds married Meda Belle Laird on on September 8, 1907, at the home of the bride's parents.

Children were: Martha B. Replogle, Sara W. Olivas, Leslie Milton Reynolds, Ronald Laird Reynolds, and Dorothy Jean Garrison Price.

In 1950 Mr. Reynolds bought a 120 acre farm east of Cummings, Kansas, on the Curlew Road, in the vicinity of both his and his wife's birthplaces, and they made this farm their home.

Mr. Reynolds retired in 1954 as Senior Postal Clerk from the Atchison Post Office after 34 years of service. He died in Atchison, Kansas on December 29, 1959, after a brief illness.

Mr Reynolds was a charter member and a deacon of the Carol Baptist Church in Atchison, devoting much time and effort to the church's work. He was a well-liked and esteemed man who held the confidence and affection of his many friends. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed the company and attention of his grandchildren.

His uncle was "Lonesome Charlie" Reynolds, a civilian scout with General George Custer's Seventh Cavalry. Charlie Reynolds was killed in the Battle of the Little Big Horn when General Custer and his forces were massacred by Indians.
