Died at 2 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. Lived at 2142 Perkins Dr. Born Dec. 28, 1876 at Golster [sic Gloster], Miss. Member of First Baptist Church.

Survived by wife, the former Mattie Sears; one sister, Mrs. W. F. Ellis, Baton Rouge, Carl E. Toler, Baton Rouge, and W. F. Toler, Gloster, Miss.; several nieces and nephews.

Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home where services will be held Friday, July 27, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Glenn P. Fournet officiating. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
