EAST PALESTINE: Jack A. Wolfe, 75, of 796 West Martin Street, died at 8:47 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2012 at the Alliance Community Hospital. Jack was born November 7, 1936 in Kittanning, PA, a son of the late Roscoe and Myrtle Lasher Wolfe. He had been employed as cemetery superintendent at the East Palestine Cemetery Association (Glenview Cemetery) over 30 years, retiring in 1996. Prior to that, he had worked at the former Pittsburgh Chair Company and the former Rupert's Bakery. He was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Janet R. Hulton, whom he married December 2, 1955; a daughter, Jackie L. (Robert) Richey of East Palestine; a son, James S. (Wanda Frame, formerly of Chandlersville) Wolfe of East Palestine; three grandchildren, Amanda (Wes) Hockman of Ashland, Jessica (Ted) Hamilton of New Philadelphia, and Scott Wolfe of East Palestine; one great grandson; and his dog, Dixie. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with the Reverend Armando Arellano and the Reverend Mark McTrustry officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
