MARY LOUISE BALOCHI GOENS, 87, widow of James Edward Goens, 307 Bullitt Avenue, SE, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter. She married May 12, 1887, in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was a member of St. Andrews's Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. G.W. Reed and Mrs. C.P. Bryant, Roanoke, and Mrs. W.P. Shockley, Knoxville, Tennessee; three sons, R.W. Goens and C.J. Goens, Roanoke, and S.C. Goens, Norfolk; a brother, C.T. Balochi, Roanoke; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be conducted at St. Andrews Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. John Igoe. Interment to follow in Evergreen Burial Park.
