She was born August 18, 1926, in Roane County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Joseph Dale and Iva (nee Workman) Nutter. A Baptist by faith, Wilma spent countless hours reading her Bible. She was a dedicated homemaker, devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include: sons: Kenny (Kathy) Bailey of Atwater, Rex Bailey of Deerfield, Tim (Linda) Bailey of Randolph; daughter-in-law: Flo Bailey of Cortland; brothers: Jennings (Bobbie) Nutter, Rodney (Patty) Nutter, Roger (Mabel) Nutter, Joe (Brenda) Nutter; sisters: Eva (Benny) Crigger and Carol Jean (Ray) Matheny; also survived by many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas Eugene Bailey on February 20, 2009. Also preceded by her son Charley Bailey, daughter-in-law Karen Bailey, siblings Edgar (Marie) Nutter, Doris (Bayward) Morris, Franklin Nutter and an infant sister Hettie Maysel.
Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Randolph Fire Department or the American Diabetes Association.
