Rose M. Kramer, 92 of 508 N. Kickapoo St. died at 10:20 am Thursday, May 13, 1982, at St. Clara's Manor. She had been a resident there for 2 1/2 years.

Mrs. Kramer was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Family Society, Daughters of Isabella, St. Clara's Manor Auxiliary, and the Foster Grandparents program. In 1969 she was named "Women of the Year" by the St. Mary's Society. She was born April 2, 1890 in Lincoln, the daughter of Frank and Sophia Klein Hembreiker.

She married Eugene W. Kramer June 20, 1916, at St. Mary's Church, Lincoln. He died March 29, 1957. Surviving are a daughter, Eugenia K. Lawrence, Lincoln, three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was proceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. Edward Westerman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kerrigan Funeral Home, with the rosary at 7:45 p.m. Memorials may be made at St. Clara's Manor.
