Daughter of Thomas Frees. Was born in either Schleswig-Holstein or Bavaria (Bayern) Germany.

The Hillenbrands had a Ranch at the end of Milligan Road north of Darby. The Hillenbrands were buried in the Evansville cemetery, but their remains were moved to the Upham cemetery when the Evansville cemetery was removed to Upham.
