Ezekiel Davison was one of the pioneers of Union Township entering two 40 acre parcels in Section 20 on May 5, 1837. He was one of the voters in the 1852 Presidential election, the first held in the newly created Union Township.

Hendricks County marriage records show an Ezekiel Davison marrying an Ann Woodruff on May 20, 1864. This would have been after the death of his first wife in 1848 and before his death in 1865.

b. 17 Aug 1809 Monmouth County, New Jersey.
d. 12 July 1863 Lizton (New Elizabeth), Hendricks County, Indiana.

Ezekiel was the son of Aaron Davison and Euphemia Holman.

As a child, Ezekiel traveled with his mother and some of his siblings, in a covered wagon, from New Jersey to Indiana. Aaron Davison, along with his brother, had arrived in Indiana (Rush County) prior to the families arrival. Sadly, when Euphemia and her children arrived, they found out that Aaron had died shortly before they got to Indiana to join him in Sept. 1823.

Ezekiel Davison married Maria Lewis on 13 Oct 1831 in Rushville, Rush County, Indiana.

Ezekiel Davison and Maria Lewis had 7 children:
