Kirkland, May 22 -- Mrs Amy Lucas Thorne, 63, died Sunday, May 21, 1950 at the Glidden Memorial Hospital in DeKalb, where she was taken Sunday morning. She had been seriously ill for six weeks.
She was born July 16, 1886 in Kirkland, the daughter of Eber and Lois Lucas. She married Will Thorne on May 4, 1918 and has resided in Kirkland all of her life.
Mrs Thorne is survived by her husband, two daughters, Lois Thorne of Chicago and Mrs T.E. Greyson of Kirkland, two grand children and a half brother, Cycus Buckman of Central Pony, Ore.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
