Oleeva Archer Colbert, 96, formerly of Lodi, passed away Thursday, February. 21, 2013 at The Elms in Wellington. She was born October 8, 1916, in Belden, to Arthur and Irma (Mennell) Wise.
She grew up there, graduating from Belden High School. She was employed by the Office of the Treasurer at Oberlin College, and volunteered at Lodi Community Hospital and other organizations in Medina County and Pine Island, Florida. She spent many hours in retirement walking, riding her three wheeled bicycle, quilting and other hobby projects. She attended the Methodist Church in Lodi and James City, Florida.
Oleeva is survived by her sons, Darryl Archer of Grafton, Clyde (Patricia) Archer of Williamsburg, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Diane Archer of Parker, Colorado; and step daughters, Joan (Don) Reicosky of Morris, Minnesota, Jean (Doug) Bamberg of Bullhead City, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Blaine Archer; second husband, Paul Colbert; son, Lynn Archer; sister, Sharlene Clark; and brother, Neil Wise.
