SUSIE COLEMAN RITES HELD....26 years Burbank Resident

Funeral services were held yesterday for Susie E Coleman, long time Burbank resident, at Eckerman Heisman Funeral Chapel, Burbank.
A native of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Coleman had been a resident of Burbank for 26 years. She was 87 years old. Mrs. Coleman and her late husband Harry C Coleman, who passed away in 1967, were in the retail grocery business in Laurens Iowa, for 23 years before retiring and moving to Burbank. The observed their Golden wedding anniversary in 1964. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star of Iowa; the Royal Neighbors of American, First Methodist Church of Burbank, a life member of the Women's Society of Christian Service, and the Progressive Senior Citizen for which she was press chairman.
PASTOR OFFICIATES
Mrs. Coleman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Worth of Hidden Hills and Mrs. Goldaperl Hunt of Burbank and five grandchildren. The Rev. harry W Adams of the First Methodist Church of Burbank officiated at the services. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Park. contributions in memory of Mrs. Coleman may be sent to the Salvation Army, a family spokesman said. (The Van Nuys News, 27 Jan 1972)
