Lillian J. Grady,88,of River Falls, formerly of Mondovi, died peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 1999, at the Lutheran Home of River Falls where she had been a resident since 1994. She was born on May 6 1910, in Mondovi, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Amundson) Wulff. Soon after her birth her family moved to Belfield, North Dakota where she spent her early childhood until returning to Mondovi. On January 21, 1931 she was united in marriage to Kevin Grady in St. Paul, Minnesota. She and her husband operated a retail variety store in Mondovi for over 30 years. She was also employed at the American Lutheran Home in Mondovi for several years. She was a lifelong member of Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi. She enjoyed participating in its organizations and the fellowship of those that worshiped with her. She was a member of the Mondovi American Legion Auxiliary for 65 years. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Bruce) Felth of Minneapolis Minnesota, Amy Grady of Bloomington Minnesota and Lois (Charles) Costa of Chula Vista California: one grandson, Steve Zweifel of Minneapolis Minnesota, two brothers, Tom Wulff of Red Wing Minnesota and Oliver Wulff of Galesville; many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband her parents; four sisters; two brothers Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi. Rev. James Tallman officiating. Burial was at Riverside Lutheran Cemetery.
