HARDESTY, OKLA.
Virgie Mae Koszarek, 70, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Guymon with the Rev. Donnie Scheuerman officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
Mrs. Koszarek was a longtime resident of the Oklahoma Panhandle. Many Guymon area families had employed her as an in-home caregiver for their loved ones.
Survivors include her husband, Leo; a sister, Clodell Olsen of Georgetown, Texas; two sons, Sam Backus of Bremerton, Wash., and Churck Backus of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Cindy Morgan of Borger, Texas, and Carolyn Hollis and Sherrie Shaffer, both of Hardesty; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
