The demise of Uncle Nelson Spicklemire Friday morning was not unexpected for he had been an invalid for many months. His remains were removed to the Baptist church on Saturday at 2 p.m., where the funeral rites were conducted by Elder Benson in the presence of a large concourse of friends. The remains were then laid away to rest in the old cemetery east of town.
