Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Copley funeral home for M.S. Warren, who passed away Saturday, January 29, at the age of 82 years. Burial was made in the Wheatland Cemetery.

Mr. Warren had been a resident of this community since 1910, having come to the Slater flats from his home in Olkahoma. Since 1929, he resided in the Wheatland flats, where he passed away.

Surviving him are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Macomber of Greeley, Colorado; five sons, Henry of Outlook, Washington, Tom of Cheyenne, Arvie of Thermopolis, William and Charles of Wheatland; twenty-six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.



Moses Samuel Warren was born June 10, 1855 in Green County, Kentucky. At the age of 23 he was united in marriage to Nancy Jane Underwood, to this union were born nine children, three of whom preceded him in death, Harvey, Mary and Lee.

Mr. Warren moved his family to Indiana where they lived until 1900 going then to Oklahoma. In 1910, he moved to a homestead near Slater, Wyoming. He lived there until 1929 then moved to the Wheatland flats where he departed this life Saturday, January 29, aged 82 years and 7 months.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife Nancy Warren, one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Macomber Greeley, Colo., five sons: Henry of Outlook, Washington, Tom of Cheyenne, Arvie of Thermopolis, William and Charles of Wheatland; twenty-six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Early in life Mr. Warren became a member of the Baptist church. He was a true and faithful Christian holding fast to his faith all thru the years.

Services were held Tuesday, P.M. at 2'clock from the Copley funeral home with Rev. Royce officiating and burial in the Wheatland cemetery.
