Maxine Young, 71, of 19 Gill Brach Road, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004,, at her residence.
Mrs. Young was the daughter of the Late John Christopher and Clara Bell Phillips Womack.
She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Young; daughter, Debbie Cooper of Weaverville; son, Steve Young of Weaverville; and grandsons, David and Dustin Cooper.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of which she was a member.
The Revs. Keith Watkins and H.L. Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Wednesday at the church.
