Gary was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having been awarded the Purple Heart, and was a retired letter carrier with over 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a devoted husband and father.
He was preceded in death by a brother Charles H. Blitch Jr.
