Robert Allen "Bob" Anderson Sr., 60, died Monday.
Born in Elko, he was a son of the late John Hugh and Minnie Hair Anderson. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Woodmen of the World No 1094. Mr. Anderson was a Navy veteran and was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marjorie Hall Anderson; sons, Robert A. Anderson Jr. of Cordelia, Ga. and John W. Anderson of Aiken; daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Rinda) Richardson and Miss Sheila D. Anderson of Aiken; brothers, J. William Anderson of Belvedere and Thomas H. Anderson of Wrightsville, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Scott of Augusta; grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Redds Branch Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Redds Branch Baptist Church or Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
