Hartsell Henry Alston
(March 17, 1927 - February 1, 2012)

Hartsell Henry Alston, age 84, of Snowflake, AZ, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2012. Alston was born March 17, 1927 in Hector, Arkansas to parents Lewis Henry and Birdie Velma Alston.

Later in life he served our country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He also worked as a Pump Man for a well drilling company for many years.

Alston is the oldest of four siblings. He is survived by sisters Lily Nevolia Clark of Snowflake, AZ and Gloria Jean Alston-Humiston of Silver City, NM. He is predeceased by his brother Bobby Lee Alston.

There will be a gathering in his honor at Silver Creek Mortuary, 745 Paper Mill Rd., Taylor, AZ, on Monday, February 6th, starting at 10:00 A.M. The Snowflake/Taylor American Legion Post 126 will be participating in the services.

A private interment will then follow at the Casa Grande/Mountain View Cemetery, in Casa Grande, AZ.
