Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 29, 2004 in Kinney- Underwood Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Truett Kuenstler and Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Anson, Texas, under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home in Stamford.
Mrs. Adams was born in Coryell County, Texas on February 14, 1900, the daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Mary Touchstone Williams. She married James R. Adams December 31, 1927 in Stamford. He preceded her in death October 1972. She was a homemaker, past member of Stamford Garden Club and a member of Paint Creek Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; four brothers; and two sisters.
Mrs. Adams is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, T.L. 'Bill' and Wilma Williams of Abilene; numerous nieces and nephews.
