Mrs. Amelia Dusenberry Passed Away at Her Home here Last Monday, August 1

Mrs. A. Dusenbery, one of the oldest and best known residents of Libertyville, died at her home on North Milwaukee avenue at five o’clock Monday afternoon, after a long illness with diseases incident to old age.
Amelia Hannah Bulkley was born in New York state March 1, 1843, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bulkley. She was one of a family of eleven children, five of whom survive her.
She came with her parents to Libertyville in 1850, and had resided continuously in this village since that time.
March 4, 1874 she was married to Elmer W. Dusenbery, who died March 4, 1915. To this union were born two children, Bruce A. Dusenbery and Mrs. Laura A. Moore, who survive their mother. She also leaves four brothers – Wallace, Columbus C., Cassius and Horace Bulkley – all of whom reside here; also one sister, Mrs. S. J. Starrett, of Middleboro, Mass.
The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, standard time. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
