RUTH MAGDALINE (WEBER) ZEDDIES, 92, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at The Towne House Health Care Center of Fort Wayne, surrounded by her loving daughter, friends and nurses. She lived an exemplary life of a Christian faith-filled woman, wife and mother. Among a family of eight children, she was born in Racine, Wis. and the daughter of Fredrick and Magdelina Weber. She grew up in the Lutheran church. She participated in worship, choirs and Bible study groups in Lutheran churches in Chicago, Ill., River Forest, Ill., Detroit, Mich., Los Angeles, Calif., Savannah, Ga., Louisville, Ky. and Fort Wayne. Most recently she resided and worshipped at The Towne House Retirement Center, Fort Wayne. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 West Wayne St., Fort Wayne. The Reverend Frederick Hasecke officiating. Burial will follow service at Concordia Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Trinity English Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society.
