NAMPA — Services for Robert Chester Perkins, 62, Route 3, Parma, who died Wednesday at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert L. Miller, Nampa First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

He was born Oct. 22, 1915, at Jacksonville, Mo., where he was reared and educated. He enlisted in the Navy in 1934, and was honorably discharged in 1945. He lived in California and worked in the sporting goods industry. He served in the Navy Reserve from 1945 until 1959. He moved to Adrian, Ore., in 1968.

He was a member of the Big Bend Grange of Adrian, and the Fin, Fur and Feather Club of California.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas R. of Westport, Mass., and Robert Chester Perkins Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Perkins of Jacksonville; four sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Wood of Rialto, Calif., Mrs. Juanita Roberts of Moberly, Mo., Mrs. Darlene Bamman of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Lavone Shoffner of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made to the Mountain States Tumor Institute, Boise.
