Beatrice Alene Ansolabehere February 1, 1945 - January 14, 2012 Bea, our warm-hearted and loving sister and aunt left to be with God. We will miss her wit, her love of animals (especially horses), and her hatred of congested traffic. Bea was born in Bakersfield to Martin and June Ansolabehere and attended school at Beardsley, Garces, and Lufkin's and Valley Business Colleges. She took a tour of Europe before embarking on her 40 plus year career as a legal secretary for such infamous attorneys as Bultman, Bianchi, Kelly, and Darling. She retired from San Joaquin Bank as Secretary to Bruce Maclin. She lived a life of service, and was always there for a friend in need. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and June, and her youngest sister, LeeVaun. She is survived by her loyal sister and friend Junemarie; brother, Martin and wife Lisa; niece, Elizabeth and fiance Derek Chaney; nephew, Martin III; and Aunt and Godmother, JoFrances Ansolabehere. There were many, many cousins too, and Bea could probably name them all. Bea loved staying in Cambria; she would go there to pick up knitting supplies, catch up on knitting, check out the antiques, and relax in the beautiful surroundings. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd., with the Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 20, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., with graveside at Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul, Pascal, and Benjie Ansolabehere, Raymond and Albert Etcheverry and Joe Bugni.
