Bonnie Lee Goodrich Hippe, 89, wife of Robbie Wesley Hippe, died Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Central Baptist Hospital.

Born in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer and Bessie Simpson Goodrich, was a member of Millville Baptist Church, a former member of Glens Creek Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher at both churches. Bonnie retired from the Dept. of Revenue, was a loving mother, housewife and loved to spend her spare time fishing.

Survivors, other than her husband, include two daughters, Shirley Teater of Nicholasville, Barbara (Virgil) Ridings of Millville, one son Dale (Sandy) Hippe of Millville, three brothers, James E. Goodrich Jr., Silas Goodrich both of Versailles and Harvey Goodrich of Lawrenceburg, six grandchildren, Denise Cline, Philip Ridings, Karen Sams, Alicia Ostermeier, Lindsay Barnes, Luke Hippe and sixteen great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, Donnie Goodrich, Juett Goodrich; two sisters, Christeva Watson and Betty Miller.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Barnes and Rev. Jeff Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Versailles Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Sams, Norman Cline, Philip Ridings, Luke Hippe, Joel Sams and Ronnie Sams. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs. (today) at the funeral home.
