Wool Weaver
George Burrell, 69, a wool weaver, died early today at the home of his son, Norman, 525 Rose St. He had been ill for three months.
Born in Delaware County, Mr. Burrell was one time on the maintenance staff at Chester High School. Later he worked at Yorkshire Woolen Mill. Lately he had been employed at Princeton Worsted Mills, Trenton.
Mr. Burrell's wife, the former Jennie Coombes, died in January 1949.
Surviving are his son Norman Burrell, with whom he made his home, and four grandchildren. A brother and four sisters also survive. They are Alfred, Whitestone, VA; Mrs. Annie Fromal and Mrs. Fannie Martin, both of Chester, and Mrs. Emma Wood, Philadelphia.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the George J. White funeral home, 9th and Madison Sts., with Rev. Alpha M. Finch, of First Baptist Church, in charge. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening at the White home.
