Omie Wright, 59, of Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard, died Sunday at the nursing home. Born March 3, 1930, in Garrett, Kentucky, she lived most of her life in Willard. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tiro United Baptist Church. Surviving are son Jim of Willard; three grandchildren; brothers, Hubert Hicks, Ellis Hicks and Lloyd Hicks, all of Willard, Norman Hicks of California and Thurman Hicks of Toledo; sisters, Violet Tackett of Shiloh, Alice Moore of Willard, Edna Dugan of New Haven and Doris Miller of New London. She was preceded in death by husband Marion, 1975; brother Enis Hicks; and parents, Elbert and Hester (Bolen) Hicks.
