TUPELO- Services for Rickey Dale Bowman, 42, of Shannon, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 1996, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues in Tupelo.
Mr. Bowman was a butcher in the meat department of Wal-Mart Super center. He was a Baptist and had served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neal S. Bowman Jr. of Greenwood. Survivors include a son, Ryan Neal Bowman of Jacksonville, Fla.; his mother, Florence Bowman of Greenwood; a sister, Bobbie Jean Crane of Stringer, and a brother, Jim Bowman of Tupelo.
The Rev. Don Trammel will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
