He married Opal Stephens Reece in Sebastian County, Arkansas in 1948 and was the stepfather of Harold & Donald Reece.
Marshall and Opal built a new home in 1959-60 at 2437 W 45th Place. Tulsa, OK 74107
He died of a heart attack after he had been hunting with his brother in law.
