Mrs. Maude Cook Interred Wed.

Services were held Wednesday, June 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel for Maude I. Cook, a resident of Wheatland since 1920. Mrs. Cook passed away at her home, 604 13th St. on Saturday, June 21st after an extended illness. Services were conducted by James E. Runner, and interment was in the Wheatland Cemetery. Pall bearers were Woodrow May, C. B. Wilson, Emerson Utter, Eldon Randall, Lambert Ryff, and James Dunham.

Mrs. Cook was born in Grant City, Mo. Feb. 7, 1882. She married Luther E. Cook, and they moved to a homestead near Torrington in 1906. She was affiliated with the Christian Church and the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Don Adams, Kalama, Was.; Mrs. Lester Zwieg, of Wheatland; two sons, Kenneth E Cook, Wheatland; Vernon D. Cook, Casper; three sisters, Mrs. Merta Cadle, Torrington; Mrs. Anna David, Torrington; Mrs. Madge Cook, Grant City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Cook's husband, Luther E. Cook, preceded her in death August 18, 1960.
