Paul, age 78, died at Stormont-Vail Health Care in Topeka. He was the son of Andrew J. and Genevieve (Eckart) Prockish. He graduated from Flush (KS) High School in 1951 and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, receiving the rank of Specialist 2nd Class as a heavy equipment operator. He worked as a rural mail carrier for the Postal Service for 20 years. He married Elizabeth Kingman on February 22, 1955, in Topeka. Survivors include his children, Paulette Bellinder, Devanie Bellinder, Tammy Nieto, Maribeth Dinger, Jill LaCount, Douglas Prockish, and Curtis Prockish, his siblings, Rose Marie Moran, Barbara Siebert, Sharon Brunin, and Robert Prockish, 24 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brother, Gilbert Prockish, and his grandson, Derek. Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Flush. Burial, with military honors, was in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
