NAMPA —Services for Larry Norne Peterson, 30, of 7830 Bobran Street, Boise, killed Wednesday night in an auto collision near Boise, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Alsip Chapel by the Rev. E J. Jenkins of the Nampa First Southern Baptist Church. Capitol Post No. 136 of the American Legion will conduct military interment services at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born in Glenns Ferry on Aug. 28, 1934, Mr. Peterson was reared in New Plymouth and attended schools there. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and served until 1952. On Sept. 5, 1962, he married Shirley Daniel in Boise. He had lived in Boise since. Mr. Peterson worked as a cook at the Hotel Boise for 2 ½ years. He had been employed as a switchman for the Union Pacific Railroad for the past month. He was a member of Capitol Post No. 136, American Legion, Boise.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Peterson, Boise; two daughters, Tina Lynne and Cheryl Louise Peterson, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Peterson of New Plymouth; eight brothers, Gaylen, Arthur, Carlton and Boyd Peterson, all of New Plymouth; Curtis Peterson of Lewiston, Leland Peterson of Magna, Utah, Kenneth Peterson of Payette and Laurel Peterson, in the Air Force at Mountain Home; and four sisters, Mrs, Claude Hale of Payette, Mrs, Carl Williams and Mrs. Jessie Spears, both of California, and Miss Glenda Peterson of New Plymouth.
