Her death was the result of injuries sustained the previous Saturday when she fell from a truck bed while helping to collect litter in Garrett County, Md. She had been transferred to the Morgantown hospital from Garrett County (Md.) Memorial Hospital, earlier in the week.
Robin was born in Confluence. She was active in the Pet Club at Northern High School in Accident, and was a member of the Hoyes Youth Group.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Brenda and Tammy Wakefield, both at home; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wakefield, Friendsville; and maternal grandfather, Roy Thomas, Markleysburg.
Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment in Boat Cemetery, near Markleysburg.
