Death Claims Justice Allen

Follows Wife Four Years to the Day

Four years to the day after the death of his wife, Albert B. Allen, 73 years of age, justice of the peace at Midwest, passed away here Friday.

Mr. Allen came into Casper seven weeks ago because of illness and stayed at the home of his son, A. B. Allen, where he succumbed Friday morning.

Justice Allen was born in Badax, Wis. He came to Wyoming from Colorado in 1923 and took up residence at Midwest. He served as justice of the peace there many years, holding that office at the time of his death.

Besides his son here, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred Stephens of Sidney, Nebr.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Earl of Highland Springs, Va., and Mrs. Grace Cunningham of Portland, Ore.

Mrs. Allen passed away Dec. 6, 1936.

Funeral services for Justice Allen will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Gay chapel.
