Linda Frances Dickson Beasley was born in Belvidere, Tennessee on April 5th, 1945 to Helen Owen and Caleb Tucker Dickson.

She was the mother of Penelope Anne Beasley and Heather Suzanne Sandell (Jeremy Sandell, husband), and sister to Mary Ellen Bolte, Caleb Owen Dickson (deceased), Alice Faye Dickson, Bettye Anne Butler, Patricia Irene Bradford, Gloria June Phillips, and Margaret Elizabeth Kruger.

Linda graduated from Isaac Litton High School in 1963 and went on to study dietetics and obtain her masters in Public Health. A member of the American Dietetic Association, she was also very active in the Bellevue United Methodist Church, the Nashville and International Emmaus Communities, as well as many other organizations and groups too numerous to list. Linda brightened all the lives she touched and will be sorely missed.

The family will be holding visitation Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 5, 2012, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Bellevue United Methodist Church, followed by the memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The church is located at 7501 Old Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37221 ph. 646-4146.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to either of the following: Middle Tennessee Camp Bluebird, St. Thomas Foundation, PO Box 380, Nashville, TN 37202-9947, or The Bellevue United Methodist Church
