Mrs. Illie M. NEFF, 71, R.R. 1, Lucerne, died Monday at 7:39 p.m. in Logansport Memorial hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1907 in Fulton county to Jessie and Mary KOHLER SUTTON. Her first marriage was to Sylvester BECKER in 1927; he died in 1939. Her second marriage was to Paul NEFF in 1950; he died in 1957. She was retired from H. W. Gossard company of Logansport and was a member of the Metea Baptist church and the Ladies Aid of the church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Shirley HILL, Mishawaka; a son, Charles BECKER, R.R. 1, Lucerne; a sister, Mrs. Nettie HERD, R.R. 2, Kewanna; four brothers, Frank SUTTON, Logansport; George "Pete" SUTTON, R.R. 6, Rochester; Elmer "Wayne" SUTTON, Logansport, and Charles "Bud" SUTTON, R.R. 1, Lucerne; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum funeral home in Logansport with the Rev. Daniel P. VITITOE officiating and burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call afer 2 p.m. Wednesday.
