Keith Roosevelt Smith, 70, of 337 Orange St, widower of Opha June Farley Smith, died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday at his home. A native of Knox County, he was the son of the late Walter and Ada Carnes Smith. He was a retired park ranger and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include five sons, Keith Smith, Irvine; Walter Smith, Miami, Ind.; Rocky Smith and Daniel Smith, Winchester, and Timothy Smith, Lexington; two daughters, Regina Smith and Trudy Jennings, Frankfort; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers Hayden Smith, London; John Allen, Strongville, Ohio, and Dwight Allen, Alabama. Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Hale and Rev. John Prater. Burial was in the Camp Nelson Cemetery, Jessamine County.
